About Light Theatre
Light Theatre is based in Cornwall. The Magic Beanstalk is the company’s first project.
Charlotte Bond (Producer/Director) has 10 years experience as a General Manager at The Little Angel Theatre, a dedicated puppet theatre in Islington, and Kneehigh where she has produced numerous small scale touring projects.
Sarah Wright (Puppet Director) is one of the most skilled puppeteers working in the UK. She has directed puppets for numerous productions including: A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings for LAT/Kneehigh; A Season in the Congo for The Young Vic; and The Empress for the RSC.
Lyndie Wright (Maker/Designer) is the UK's foremost puppet maker. She founded LAT in 1961 and has made puppets for theatre and film throughout her life.
Rachel Leonard (Puppeteer) is an engaging performer, as well as being an excellent puppeteer. Rachel's credits include Sleeping Beauty in the Wood (LAT): Venus and Adonis (RSC); and War Horse (NT).
Alex Crombie-Rodgers (Maker/Designer) is an artist and theatre carpenter. Alex has worked for numerous organisations, most recently Kneehigh, ETT and the National Trust.
Sarah and Lyndie’s work has previously been seen in Cornwall as part of Kneehigh’s Rambles show.
Sarah, Lyndie and Rachel were also part of the team who created A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings which played at the Performance Centre on Tremough Campus in March 2013.
